Course Objectives

Leadership

Effective communication and motivation through human relations.

Judgment and decision making skills.

Changing people’s attitudes without causing resentment.

Leading and participating effectively in meetings.

Format

The Dale Carnegie Course has 12 sessions.  Each session is once a week and is approximately 4 hours long.  Generally, public classes are held in the evening at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing from 6:00 - 10:00pm.  In-house company classes can be scheduled in the evening or during the day at the convenience of the client.

Materials Included

Participant manual, textbooks, and booklets

Graduation Requirements

Completion of ten of the twelve sessions.

Missed Sessions Transfer Privileges:  If you miss a session, you may make up the session with another group.  A predetermined absence may often be made up in advance.  Attendance of missed sessions and transfers are limited to one year from the date of your original enrollment.

There are many locations available for sessions to be made up.  When contacting our office please provide your name and the session (s) you would like to make up and we will do our best to provide a time and location that best fits your needs.

Accreditation

    Three semester hours in Oral Communications, Lower Division Baccalaureate category approved by the American Council on Education.

    4.2 CEU's by the Accrediting Council for continuing Education and Training.
